The staff at McKennas have worked with us for many years, with the current team clocking up a cumulative 1,000 years of experience! Our team lives in and around Listowel, Co. Kerry and know most of our customers by name. Their vast product knowledge is used every day to help our customers to get the best advice and product most suited to their requirements. Our Brands

McKennas in Listowel since 1871

The McKenna family, with the current management representing the fourth generation, started trading at 3 Market Street, Listowel in 1871, adding number 5 in 1912 and number 1 in 1962. These three fine premises have been extended and integrated into each other to form a comfortable shop. In 1993 McKennas relocated to a new purpose built Builders’ Merchants on the John B. Keane Road, where we provide for all the building requirements of tradesmen, farmers and householders. Our longevity can be primarily attributed to the ongoing support of the local community and our staff’s dedication to providing exceptional advice, value and service to our valued customers.
